Description
History of myth and symbol assignment that's still due wayy ahead of time. >_>
The theme was to illustrate material possessions that don't last forever and incorporate death into it. So you could pretty much guess what each object symbolize in this drawing.
As for materials, I used india ink/nibs and traditional cheap colored pencils. I wish I had prisma ones. =/ I stuck with the cheap roseart ones and crayola sets of 24 XD. I haven't colored with them for a long time so I thought I might get back into the habit. Oh and I used photoshop to add lens flare, highlights, etc.
Here are some detailed shots to get an upclose look on some objects. Also because I spent a lot of time just inking it alone, and the colored pencils hinder some of the nib details. X_x..

This is a nice piece of work 
For our A level film/photo project, we have to look at vanitas and research artists and pieces that look at the theme. I hope you don't mind me using this as an example? We need to find pictures from lots of different places and people.
